What we handle

We store your account email, school connection, encrypted authorization credentials, assistant access grants and subscription status. Stripe processes payment details; we do not receive your full card number. We retain request counts to enforce usage limits.

When you ask your assistant

Requested course information is read from Canvas and returned to the assistant you connected. It can include assignments, rubrics, syllabus text, announcements and your submission status. Your assistant provider’s privacy and retention rules apply to the information it receives. We do not send your Canvas credentials to that provider.

Storage and control

The hosted connector does not keep a copy of retrieved course text. Hosting and database providers process requests on our behalf. Disconnecting removes stored school credentials and assistant grants. It does not erase information already in an assistant conversation or cancel a subscription. Cancel billing through Manage subscription.

Deletion and questions

Email support@duggai.com from your account email to request account deletion, an export or help. Billing records may be retained where required. Operational logs and backups may persist after deletion according to the infrastructure provider’s retention settings.

Self-hosting

The local open-source server sends Canvas data directly to the assistant you run it with. It has no Dugg analytics or Dugg subscription requirement.
