Free is a one-time 50-credit trial to validate fit — no recurring monthly credits. Starter and above bill monthly with credits resetting on your cycle date.

How credits scale
Credits scale with how much model work an answer takes. A simple FAQ reply uses a fraction of a credit; a long premium-model conversation with code in it uses more. Idle weeks consume nothing. The dashboard Usage tab shows your real consumption broken down by channel and model.
What plan includes
- Free — both channels (widget + Discord), one-time 50-credit trial (no monthly reset), "Powered by DuggAI" badge, community support.
- Starter — both channels, email support, conversation export.
- Pro — branding off, Cursor coding-agent dispatches, bug intelligence, Linear / GitHub sync, priority support.
- Custom — sales-led tier with custom credit allocation, SLA, audit logs, dedicated solutions engineer, SOC2 documentation, optional self-host. Email support@duggai.com.
How credits are counted
Every LLM call gets metered with real token counts and converted into credits according to the table above. Your dashboard Usage tab shows the per-channel and per-model breakdown for the current period.
What does not burn credits:
- Test conversations from your dashboard.
- Conversations from your own allowed test domain (e.g.
localhost). - Spam / abuse the bot blocked before generating any response.
- Failed LLM calls (timeouts, rate limits) — only successful tokens bill.
Top-up packs
Credits never expire. Buy packs for spikes:

Spend order: monthly bucket first, then top-up credits.
Why credits and not flat rates
Per-seat pricing punishes scale. Per-resolution treats every reply the same regardless of how much model work it actually took. Credits track the real cost of doing the work, so a chatty deep-reasoning conversation pays its weight and a one-shot FAQ answer barely registers — for the same plan price.
Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrades take effect immediately; the new plan's credit allocation kicks in now. Downgrades apply at the end of the billing cycle. Monthly credits don't carry over — they reset on the cycle date. Top-up credits never expire.
Refunds
Pro-rated refunds within the first 14 days of any new paid subscription. Email support@duggai.com for edge cases.
