Calendar

Connect Google Calendar so DUGGAI can answer scheduling questions correctly the first time.

Why it matters

Scheduling threads are one of the most common reply types and one of the easiest to get wrong without context. Without Calendar, DUGGAI has to either dodge the question ("Let me check and get back to you") or guess. With Calendar, it can answer with real availability.

What it can do

  • Check whether you're free at a specific time and reply truthfully.
  • Propose times based on your actual schedule.
  • Reference your existing meetings ("After the kickoff at 2pm I'm open").
  • Avoid double-booking when proposing slots.
Sending invites isn't on by default
DUGGAI reads availability and writes the reply text. It doesn't create or send Calendar invites without explicit confirmation — that lives behind an action button on the draft.

Connecting

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar.
  2. Click Connect and approve read access.
  3. DUGGAI will see your primary calendar and any calendars you have access to.

Working hours

Set your working hours in Settings → Calendar. DUGGAI uses these when proposing times — it won't suggest 7am on a Sunday unless you tell it that's a normal time for you.

Time zones

DUGGAI uses your account's default time zone for scheduling and converts to the recipient's when it can detect their location. If a thread mentions a time zone explicitly ("3pm PT"), DUGGAI honors it.

Privacy

Calendar access is read-only. We pull busy/free and event titles into your style profile for context, but event details are never used outside your account. See Privacy & data.
