Frequently asked questions
The questions we hear most often, with short, real answers.
Does DUGGAI replace Gmail?
No. DUGGAI sits next to Gmail and uses the Gmail API. Your inbox is still in Gmail, and every action DUGGAI takes (drafts, labels, sends) shows up in your normal Gmail clients.
Is my email content used to train AI models?
No. We use frontier model providers via OpenRouter with prompt logging and training opt-ins disabled. Your emails are not used to train any shared models. See Privacy & data.
Can DUGGAI work with Outlook?
Yes — Outlook is supported via the same OAuth pattern as Gmail. IMAP-only providers aren't supported.
Will DUGGAI auto-send replies without me knowing?
Auto-send is off by default. Until you turn it on per-contact (or globally), every single draft requires your approval. When auto-send is on, every shipped reply is logged in your audit log and shows up in Gmail with an "Auto-sent" badge.
What happens if I forward a sensitive email to my legal team?
Add the legal address to the excluded contacts list in Settings → Privacy. DUGGAI will skip processing for any thread involving that address.
Can I use DUGGAI on multiple Gmail accounts?
One Gmail per DUGGAI account on the current plans. If you need work + personal, create a separate DUGGAI account for each.
How long does the trial last?
7 days. The trial is $1 with a welcome credit, then converts to Pro unless you cancel. See Plans & billing.
What if I don't like a draft?
Three options: edit it before sending (best — teaches DUGGAI), reject it (skips this thread), or skip it (decide later). See Approval Deck.
Where is my data stored?
Supabase, in US regions. The web app is on Vercel. Your OAuth tokens live in Composio. Encrypted at rest and in transit. Full breakdown in Privacy & data.
Do you have a SOC2 report?
Not yet. SOC2 is on the 2026 roadmap. If you need a DPA or vendor security questionnaire, email support@duggai.com.
How do I delete everything?
See Delete your account. Two-step deletion, runs immediately, wipes 14 tables.
