Troubleshooting

Common problems and the fix in one place.

Drafts aren't appearing

Three usual causes:

  1. Gmail isn't actually connected. Open Settings → Integrations and confirm Gmail shows as Connected with a recent sync time. If not, click Reconnect.
  2. You're out of drafts on the Free plan. Check your usage. The cap resets monthly.
  3. Smart Inbox classified mail as not needing a reply. Re-label a thread to To Respond and a draft will appear within 30 seconds.

Drafts don't sound like me

Style needs signal to learn. If you're a new account, give it a few days of edits. If you've been on for a while and it's still off:

  • Add explicit style notes in Settings → Style.
  • Use the edit button instead of reject — see Style learning.
  • Connect more context (Notion, Slack, Calendar) so drafts have facts to anchor to.

Smart Inbox keeps mis-categorizing

Re-label the thread once and the classifier learns. For senders that should always go to a specific category, set a per-sender rule from the contact panel — that's a hard override that doesn't require model retraining.

An auto-sent reply went out that shouldn't have

First, check the audit log
Settings → Auto-send → Audit log shows everything that shipped.

If a reply landed wrong, the lever is auto-send rules. Add an exclusion or tighten the custom AI rules. If the recipient is in your auto-send list, removing them stops it immediately. Recall via Gmail's 30-second window if you're fast.

Calendar drafts have the wrong times

Confirm the time zone in Settings → Calendar. Then verify Calendar is connected and synced — re-sync from Settings → Integrations if last sync is more than a few hours old.

Integration broke / shows red

OAuth tokens expire. Click Reconnect on the integration. If reconnect loops back to the same error, disconnect entirely, wait a minute, and reconnect — that forces a fresh consent flow.

Login loops on /home

Usually a stale session. Sign out, clear cookies for the duggai.com domain, sign in again. If you signed up via OAuth and your provider revoked access, you may need to sign in by email instead.

Still stuck

Email support@duggai.com with the issue, ideally with a thread ID or a screenshot. We aim for a same-business-day reply.
